Today, key architect of the IVO (Independent Verification Organization) framework and Fathom senior advisor, Dr. Gillian Hadfield, was named to Governor Gavin Newsom’s group of AI experts. Fathom CEO and Co-Founder Andrew Freedman released the following statement:
"For years, Dr. Gillian Hadfield has championed a novel idea for meaningful AI safety oversight: a market of independent technical experts licensed by and accountable to the government.
